Reign of Terror Haunted House ~ one of the most highly acclaimed, award-winning walk through haunted houses in California, reveals thrilling additions and all new effects to create an astounding production for their 20th consecutive season on Friday, December 13th, and Saturday, December 14th!
During this very special event, the 25,000 square foot Haunted House will be decked out for the dark side of Yuletide. Visitors will walk through the entire maze encountering new surprises found only at this twisted winter wonderland.
A very special photo op with a different kind of Scary Claws; new characters like the jeering Jack Frost, Rudolph the Rotten Reindeer, and a fiendish snowman utter heinous holiday sounds and where you expect it the least ~ an inside snowstorm. Bizarre decorations, creepy Christmas trees, the glow of gruesome lights, all encompassed in 115 haunted rooms and attractions with thrilling scares and screams throughout with a hearty dash of holiday fear mixed in.
Reign of Terror opens for a special two-night holiday horror spectacular at Janss Marketplace located at 275 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks; off the 101 freeway, at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.
On average it takes about 25 minutes to complete a walk-through of this massive haunted house. An entirely new section called ‘Containment’ premiers as Reign of Terror’s ninth attraction. All hope is lost for the residents inside Containment who have managed to avoid the horrible mutations of Quarantine yet are doomed to forever be restrained from the public, until outsiders unwittingly provoke the worst.
Also new for 2019 is ‘Widow’s Den’, an eerie experience that lures a special kind of dreadful anticipation for visitors. New hair-raising special effects, spectacular props, and a massive horde of live-action characters add to frightful thrills galore. The existing ‘Asylum’ attraction has been re-imagined and reorganized as never seen before.
Reign of Terror’s incredibly high level of detail, cohesive theme, and overall fun is evident across all the changes and improvements made to existing attractions: Miners Revenge, Asylum, The Victorian Haunted Mansion, Inbred, Casa Blood, Infected, Quarantine, and Fun House. Fan favorites “The White Out Experience; Slime Blog and the Vortex Tunnel” return, each creating uniquely disturbing encounters.
Ticket prices range from $17 to $25 for general admission and $30 to $40 for express entry admission. Box Offices sales are cash only, and an ATM is located nearby for convenience. Anyone holding a ticket and in line for entrance prior to closing time each night is guaranteed entrance.
